Hi, I’m Scott Mathews, the Flagship Coordinator at Big Sky High School. A little about myself: I grew up in Mahtomedi, Minnesota, a suburb of the Twin Cities and attended college at the University of Kansas-- my blood bleeds the crimson and blue of KU.  I graduated with a degree in film and moved to New York City where I worked in the music industry doing artist management and consulting for Polygram Records for five years.   I'm a student of the history of rock and roll and I love sports, gardening and spending time with my family.

I've lived in Missoula since 1995 and have been the Flagship Coordinator at Big Sky since 2003.  Big Sky is a great high school-- I don't think a kid could hope for a more caring staff or administration.  I love working with our students here and have enjoyed my time with Flagship.  I encourage students to check out Flagship's offerings to see if there's something that interests you... and if you have an idea for a club or activity, stop by my office in Room 15D and we'll try and make your idea happen.                                                                                                                               

If you’re a student, keep an eye out for the activities we’re offering--we're in the morning announcements and on flyers in the school-- and if you’re a parent and would like to volunteer your talent, I’d like to talk to you about it!
