Hi, I am Ali O’Connor, the new
Flagship Coordinator at Hawthorne Elementary School. I was born a
raised in Great Falls, MT. In 1997, I came to Missoula to attend
college and then decided to become a life-long Missoulian. In
college, I studied dance (mostly tap dancing), math (I love finding
creative ways to teach math) and elementary education. I earned a
Bachelor of Science in Education and have enjoyed working with kids
ever since. I spent a few years teaching financial education, and
then was lucky enough to join the Hawthorne community with
Flagship.
When I’m not working I love to
travel, read, quilt, scrapbook, and spend time with family and
friends. It has been so much fun getting to know the children at
Hawthorne, and I look forward to planning fun and creative classes
for the kiddos. If you have any questions or would like to
participate in Flagship, or if you just want to visit, please stop
by the FRC.
