Kindergarten & First Grade

Art with the Masters

Mon, 3:00 – 4:00

Each week students will study a famous artist.  Students will take what they have learned from these masters to create their own masterpiece!

 

Imagination Station

Tues, 3:00-4:00

This time, we’ll become space explorers as we blast off in our imaginary rocket ship! We’ll read books, play games, and do arts and crafts from this galaxy and beyond!

 

Music & Dance

Wed,  3:00 – 4:00

Join Teacher Jayann and Teacher Lara and have fun with music! Move your body in this class that’s an exploration of music, song, and modern dance. 

 

Games Galore

Thurs, 2:00 -3:00

Get your game on!  We’ve got all the classics from Chutes & Ladders, Candyland, Memory, Uno, Bingo, Twister and more!  Bring your friends!

 

Tricky Science

Thurs, 2:00 -3:00

We’ll be doing a variety of science experiments, from rockets to slime.  The last week, we’ll take a field trip to SpectrUM!

 

Second & Third Grades

Pen Pals

Mon, 3:00-4:30

If you love to write letters, get letters and make new friends join Pen Pals. In this class we write to Flagship friends at Franklin and Hawthorne.  Please plan on attending EVERY week so you and your pal always get a letter.

 

Hip Hop Dance

Mon, 3:00-4:30

If you love hip hop music, come bust a move… In this class, we’ll be learning some new dance moves, and creating dance routines with Teacher Leanna. 

 

Explorers

Tues, 3:00-4:30

Travel the world with special guests from other countries!  We’ll be learning about arts/crafts, foods, languages and games from a different country each week.

 

Telling My Story

Tues, 3:00-4:30

Have you ever wanted to be the one taking pictures of your life?  Come and be in charge of showing everyone what it means to be you, through photography and writing.

 

Book Club

 Wed, 3:00-4:30

We’ll be reading “Flat Stanley,” the totally made-up adventures of a boy that has been squished by a bulletin board!  Art, drama, and games will accompany our tale.

 

Currents

Thurs, 2:00 – 4:00

Board the Flagship bus to hit the waterslides, float the lazy river, and soak in the hot tub!  Bring your swimsuit and towel, Flagship will take care of everything else!

 

Art for Fun

Thurs, 2:00 – 3:30

A teacher from the Missoula Art Museum will be coming over to have fun with us doing art from a variety of mediums.

 

 

Fourth & Fifth Grades

GUTS!

Mon, 3:30-5:00

Girls Using Their Strengths!  In this group just for girls we work on self esteem, team-building, leadership skills, and community service projects.

 

Native American Culture Club

Mon, 3:30-5:00

Learn more about our country’s Native American heritage!  We’ll be trying out arts, crafts and outdoor games from a variety of tribes, featuring our very own Mrs. Salena Hill. 

 

Lowell School Musical

Tues, 3:30-5:00

Are you a “High School Musical” fan?  Could you just not get enough of “Hairspray”?If so, this class is for you.  We’ll be learning songs and dance routines to our favorite musicals with Teacher Katie from dance class!  

 

Bobcat Bulletin

Tues, 3:30-5:00

Inquiring minds want to know…Do you like to write or take photos?  Students in this class will keep up the tradition of the Bobcat Bulletin, bringing Lowell the scoop each month.

 

Homework Zone

Wed, 3:30-5:00

Get help with your homework, challenge your gourd with brain teasers, and compete in Flagship’s weekly Knowledge Bowl!

 

Running Club

Wed, 3:30-5:00

Come train for the Riverbank Run! We will be running laps and playing running games to see just how many miles we can get in before school’s out!

 

Animal Friends

Thurs, 2:30-4:30

Make some new furry friends at the Missoula Humane Society!  Students will be learn about animal care, and lend a hand to pet, brush, train and walk the dogs, cats, and other critters waiting to be adopted!
