2010 Program Schedule
July 6—August 13
Mondays—Thursdays, 10 am—5 pm & Fridays, 10 am—1 pm
How do I sign my child
up?
Step ONE: Complete the
registration form and return it to the C.S. Porter Main Office as
soon as possible. Registration forms are available in the brochure
that was sent home or from the Flagship Office. It is important to
register in a timely manner, as enrollment is a first come first
serve basis, and is limited to 25 students. Priority will be given
to those registered by May 21. Confirmation acceptance into summer
camp will be week of June 7.
Step TWO:
Your student will receive a confirmation packet, with various
paperwork that MUST be completed in order for your child to attend.
It is important that these forms are returned by the first day of
summer camp.

Week One, July 6—July 9: Getting To
Know You
Play fun games! Get to know the other students
enrolled in camp. Tuesday through Wednesday and Friday mornings at
C.S. Porter. Splash MT in the afternoons. Wednesday is Out to Lunch
at Caras Park. Thursday is Community Adventure Day with other middle
schools.
Week Two, July 12—July 16: Got Game?
Learn the thrills of various non-traditional sports
and games, including ultimate Frisbee, capture the flag, kick the
can, bowling and many more. Monday through Wednesday and Friday
mornings at C.S. Porter. Splash MT in the afternoons. Thursday is
Community Adventure Day and water games with other middle schools.
Week Three, July 19—July 23: No More
Drama
Enjoy various ways to express yourself! Including
drama, dance, creative movement and music! Monday through Wednesday
and Friday mornings at C.S. Porter. Splash MT in the afternoons.
Thursday is Community Adventure Day with the other middle schools.
Week Four, July 26—July 30: Art it
Up!
Join Missoula Art Museum and create a masterpiece!
Monday through Wednesday and Friday mornings at C.S. Porter. Splash
MT in the afternoons. Thursday is Community Adventure Day at the
Osprey game with the other middle schools (meet at C.S. Porter at
12pm).
Week Five, August 2—August 6:
Discover Missoula!
Get to know Missoula a little bit better with Parks
and Recreation’s Discovery Corps and providing volunteer service
throughout the community. Go folfing, geocaching and give back to
Missoula! Monday through Wednesday and Friday mornings. Thursday is
Community Adventure Day with other middle schools. MEET AT C.S.
PORTER AT 9AM THIS WEEK!
Week Six, August 9—August 13: Nature
Adventure
Learn the ways to a green thumb with Nature Adventure
Program. Go to Fort Missoula’s greenhouse, garden and hang out by
the Bitterroot River. Monday through Wednesday and Friday mornings
at C.S. Porter. Splash MT in the afternoons. Thursday is our ending
celebration! Join a dance party and show your talents at our summer
camp talent show! |
