Hi, I’m Anna-Margaret Yarbrough, the Youth
Development Coordinator at Washington Middle School. I’ve spent the
last year with AmeriCorps as the Volunteer Coordinator for The
Flagship Program, and I am thrilled to begin my work here at
Washington!
I grew up in Montgomery, Alabama and moved
north to attend Miami University of Ohio. During that time, I
studied abroad in Italy, Luxembourg, and South Africa. I graduated
with a degree in Organizational Communication and minors in History
and Marketing.
In my spare time, I enjoy being outside. I love
running, biking, and hiking. I also like quiet afternoons of
reading, good movies, and tea. I have fallen in love with the West
and have thoroughly enjoyed all the activities Missoula has to
offer. Snowshoeing, Skiing, and floating down the river are some of
my favorites!
I look forward to getting to know all the
wonderful Washington students, staff, and community. I’m very
excited about the opportunity to connect with students and offer
quality after school programs.
Students, parents, and staff, feel free to stop
by with ideas for new activities, clubs, and to find out ways to get
involved!
