Hello, my name is Bonnie Walchuk and I am
the Youth Development Coordinator at Washington Middle School. I am
absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Flagship Program at
Washington!
To tell you a little about myself, I am originally from
Ronan, Montana where I was raised on a ranch. This provided me with
a great quality of life and the opportunity to learn about nature
and values. I enjoy art, music, outdoor activities, traveling, and
spending as much time as possible with family and friends.
I joined
the Flagship Program after graduating from Carroll College in
Helena, Montana with a BA degree in Psychology and minor in
Sociology. While in college I worked in Alaska during the summer
months and spent a semester traveling by ship around the world. My
travels have brought me home to be a part of the community I love.
Working with at-risk youth for over three years in youth homes
throughout Montana led me to my present position.
I have made it my
personal mission to serve, protect, and enrich the lives of youth in
need. I hope to bring insightful programs to Washington Middle
School that provide students with skills and opportunities for their
