Homework Zone

11 weeks - Mon.-Thurs.

Need a time and place to get your homework done? A.J., Tayler, and the tutors are back to help you on your homework! New and returning students welcome! Bring your agendas & be ready to work.

 

Stained Glass

6 weeks - Monday and Wednesday

The next 8 students on the waitlist from the fall program are automatically enrolled. CHECK WITH BONNIE IN THE FLAGSHIP OFFICE! Students must be able to attend both Monday and Wednesday.

 

 Drama Club

6 weeks - Mondays

Aimee from Dance is back to teach you Drama!  Play games and act in skits and plays to be performed at the end of the year Flagship Celebration!

 

 Ice Skating

7 weeks - Mondays

Session 1: Feb 11th-March 3rd

Session 2: March 10th -March 31st

Have fun skating with friends at Glacier Ice Rink! Open to beginners and experts! All are welcome!

 

Archery

7 weeks - Mondays

Session 1: Feb 11th- March 3rd

Session 2: March 10th - March 31st

Learn to shoot a bow and arrow at The Archery Center of Missoula! The next 12 students on the waitlist from the fall program are automatically enrolled. CHECK WITH BONNIE IN THE FLAGSHIP OFFICE!

 

Super Science Squad

6 weeks - Tuesdays

Join spectrUM's Super Science Squad!  You'll learn how to paint with light, build mechanized creatures, and design animation. The last day you’ll have a private science party at the Spectrum Discovery Area with interactive exhibits and guided cow eyeball dissections.  Pretty Cool, huh?

12 student limit.

 

Mural Project

11 weeks - Tuesdays

Make your mark on the school! We need dedicated artist to help paint a mural on a wall at WMS. Students must commit to coming to class every Tuesday after school. 6-8 Student Limit.

 

Respect Club

11 weeks - Tuesdays

Scrap-booking

6 weeks - Tuesdays

Create a decorative album of your own! Pictures of the holidays, friends, family or animals can be put in your creative scrap-book. Each student will receive their own scrap-book to decorate and take home.

 

Hands on Banking

3 weeks - Thursdays

Did you know you can set up your own savings account now and have your own checking account at the age of 13? Save up for summer and lean how start managing your own money in this banking workshop!

Young Writers Circle

6 weeks - Wednesdays

High School Journalist, Dixie Riddle, is here to bring you some insight to writing creatively! Poetry has a place in all people and now it has a place at WMS! Highlight your creativity and join Dixie in the discovery and growth of writing.

 

W.I.T.

10 weeks - Thursdays

Women In Transition - NEW! Starts Feb. 21st

For 8th grade girls, this club will discuss the pressures of being a teen.  We will have fabulous guest speakers, play games, eat food, talk about high school, meet high school people, and discuss health related issues.

Mosaic Class

4 weeks - Monday & Wed.

If you have taken stain glass before, sign up for this new and advanced Mosaic Class taught by Mr. McAtee! Must be able to attend both Mon. & Wed.

 

Gardening

5 weeks - Mondays

Dave is back! Be a part of a great creation at WMS and plant the crops for the garden this spring!

 

Outdoor Sports

5 weeks (DAY TBA)

Have fun outdoors in playing a variety of sports with friends! Play folf, basketball, soccer, and more!

 

Photography

5 weeks - Tuesdays

Learn how to take perfect photographs! Taught by 3 high school photographers, you will learn how to take excellent portraits and landscape photos.

 

Volleyball

5 weeks - Tuesday

Play volleyball at Lions park and U of M!  This activity will be outdoors rain or shine.  Open to students of all grades and ages!

 

Flag Football

5 weeks - Wednesdays

Hey 6th graders! Get ready for next years football season by practicing and playing flag football with Taylor and friends at Lions Park!

For 6th graders only

 

French Club

5 weeks - Wednesdays

Learn how to speak French! In this class you’ll learn the French language and culture from Kimi!

 

Folf

5 weeks - Thursdays

Folf is a combination of Frisbee and golf. Students will be transported off campus to Pattie Canyon and Blue Mountain folf courses.  

 

Critter Care

4 weeks - Friday

Open to the next 6 students on the Critter Care waitlist from the fall program. Check with the Flagship Office!
