Marketing, Operations & Outreach (MOO) Coordinator
Under the direct supervision of The Flagship Program/NW Prevention Services Manager, position responsibilities include community and university outreach to support Youth Development Coordinators/Prevention Specialists in instructional recruitment, local fundraisers and events, and day to day operational support. Ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, organizational, creative thinking, and communication skills; and should demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as within a team. Candidate should have a strong passion for youth development programs and strong work ethic.
Essential Responsibilities:
Full-time-40 hours/per week
• Support Youth Development Coordinators and Prevention Specialists in day-to-day operation of the program including at times acting as a substitute as the program needs.
• Assist Program Manager in marketing and promotional materials including social media and website development.
• Maintain and update Flagship policies and procedures, including program manual.
• Assist Program Manager in daily program operations and management for both programs.
Duties include:
• Act as liaison between community partners for Prevention Services and The Flagship Program, as well as establishing new and current partner relationships.
• Further develop outreach to various University of Montana departments, local businesses, and community partners for afterschool and summer programs, as well as researching and implementing ways to sustain instruction for multiple program sessions.
• Assist YDC’s and Prevention Specialists in coordinating relationship/cost arrangements with program vendors and instructional recruitment.
• Co-Organize, implement (with Program Manager), and track educational opportunities and training's for staff.
• Assist in program awareness through events and marketing.
• Develop and implement local fundraising events.
• Assist in tracking program data, revenue, and expenses for both programs.
• Assist Program manager in onboarding new staff.
Knowledge:
Experience working in program and fund development, event planning, knowledge of office practices, procedures, and policies. Ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, and should demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Competencies:
Proficient in word processing, data entry, Windows, Microsoft Office Products, and other program specific computer programs, experience with using a multi-line phone system, computer, calculator, copier, fax, and other office machines and equipment; able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, other agencies, clinic consumers, and the general public; skilled at effectively communicating verbally and in writing, demonstrate strong grammar skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions, and perform duties with minimal supervision.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in nonprofit management, education, or related field, and/or demonstrated, relevant and equivalent experience in human service.
