The Flagship Program at C.S. Porter Middle School offers a variety of afterschool programs to all of its students, all at no cost. We run after-school programs in the fall (mid-September - early December), winter (mid-February - late March) and spring (early April - early May), and then weekly summer day camps are held for six weeks in June and July. Our programs are free and open to C.S. Porter Middle School students.
Our afterschool programs consist of approximately 20 programs per session. They change based on student interests, partnerships in the community, and various community & university volunteers who wish to share their talents, interests, and hobbies. Some of the more popular offerings include cooking, parkour, cheer & gymnastics, robotics, art club, graffiti art, flag football, and "lights, camera, action" with MCAT. Homework Zone is offered 3+ days a week, in which students can receive academic support and tutoring. Feel free to call, email, or come by the Flagship office (next to the Gibson Gym) if you have any questions, would like further information, want to volunteer or have suggestions for program activities.
