Hi, I'm Faith Price, the Youth Development Coordinator for Lowell Elementary School's Flagship Program. I am originally from Dixon, Montana, about 45 minutes north of Missoula. I came to Missoula to go to college about 13 years ago, and have been here off and on ever since!  I received my bachelor's degree in social work, and a master's degree in journalism, both from the University of Montana. I went into social work because I wanted a job where I could make a difference in the lives of youth. And I studied journalism...in order to write great articles, like this! Just kidding.  Anyway, since completing my education, I have worked with young people in a variety of educational programs like Upward Bound, the McNair Scholars Program, and the Health Careers Opportunity Program.  When I'm not working, I love to travel - besides Montana, I've lived in New Zealand, Hawaii, Oregon, and Kansas (!) and have visited six countries. When I'm not traveling, I like to cook, swim, read, hike, folf, and spend time with my friends and family. I love kids and have several of my own. :)  Right now, I am glad to be back home in Montana near my family. I spent this past summer running the inaugural Flagship program at Lowell, and I am so pleased to be back at Lowell for the school year! I look forward to getting to know the Lowell community and planning lots of fun activities for the students!
