Hi! My name is Keri McHugh and I am the Youth Development Coordinator at Washington Middle School. I am excited to work with the students, staff, and the community while continuing the incredible work of Flagship.

I grew up in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. When I wasn’t on the lake you could find me on the beach volleyball courts, shooting hoops, or tossing a softball. Upon leaving Coeur d’Alene, I moved to Missoula and to attend the University of Montana where I graduated with a double major in Health Promotion and Communication Studies. After graduation I spent a summer backpacking through Europe and enjoying time with friends and family.

After finishing school and traveling, I began working at the Missoula Family YMCA as the Active 6 Coordinator. We partnered with Flagship on various activities through out the school year and summer giving me the chance to be apart of two exciting programs at the same time!

In my free time I enjoy teaching Indoor Cycling classes, Yoga, laughing with friends, and spending time at home with my family and our two dogs. One of my other favorite pastimes is running. So far I have completed ten half-marathons and recently completed my first full-marathon! Running has allowed me the opportunity to explore new and exciting places as well as the local trails of Missoula.

As for Washington Middle School and Flagship – I could not be more thrilled! I am looking forward to connecting with the students and offering quality after school programs helping them to become confident, productive adults. Feel free to stop by and say hello anytime.
